Please accept my condolences and regrets that our paths did not cross very much. Ever since our last Lebron and Maicle Davenport family reunion, I had hoped to make it back to Woodbury and spend time with as many of the Davenports in our family as possible. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time. Sincerely,
Oakley Odene Davenport

Our family is so saddened to hear of Hoppy's passing. We have known him since we moved to Woodbury in 1978. His mother Lola worked with us and taught us how to cook when we bought pat's drive in and my wife worked with Cindy at CCHS. They are truly a wonderful family and our prayers go out to them at this time. It is a terrible loss and we all have lst a great man, father, grandfather and friend.....Gary and sharan Loux and family

Helen & Lynn:

I was very sorry to learn of Hoppy’s passing. He started as Circuit Court Clerk, and I started as the Cannon County probation officer on the same day. We learned from each other and survived those early days.

Hoppy was easy to work with. He was honest, helpful, thorough, and even-tempered. He will be missed by all who knew him and worked with him.
